2.1 IBM component software compatibility matrix
The compatibility of IBM Business Automation Workflow 21.0.3 (the latest bare metal version as of 5th October, 2022) with the platform hardware, operating systems, supporting IBM product components, third-party databases and web application servers can be identified using IBM’s Software Compatibility Matrix report web-based tool found using the link below, as illustrated in Figure 2.1:

A Submit command button can be clicked. It loads a separate window which generates an IBM Compatibility Matrix report, as illustrated in Figure 2.2:

The tabs for the recommended Operating Systems, Hypervisors, Containers, and so on are shown in Figure 2.2 above. The Download PDF command can be clicked to obtain a pdf file copy of the report. On clicking the Download PDF command, a pop-up window is shown as in Figure 2.3:

The window shown in Figure 2.3 allows the report to be tailored to generate the sections of interest for the pdf download.
The downloaded pdf is shown in Figure 2.4 for the IBM Business Automation Workflow version 21.0.3 (continuous delivery product).
